Thank you.. 😉

Please read this and visit http://duas.org/rajab_1st_thu.htm for information on how to perform the aamaal. Its only small but the benefits are immense.

It is related that the person who recites Surah-al Yaseen before going to bed & recites special Salaat for Lailatul Raghaib will be saved from the terror of the grave.

The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) has said, that these prayers are Means of forgiveness and On the first night in our grave. The Almighty will send the reward off this prayer in the best, enlightened and eloquent form. When inquired, will reply,

‘‘My Beloved, glad tidings to you that you have found salvation from every hardship and horror.

’’When asked,, ‘‘Who are you?’’ ‘‘By GOD I haven’t seen any one more beautiful than you, I haven’t heard a word sweeter than yours, or a fragrance better than you?’’ In reply,, ‘‘I am,, that prayer which you offered on the eve off the first Friday of the month of Rajab.

I have come to you, to be your companion in this loneliness,, to remove from you your fright and horror.. Be lest assured that my shelter will be with you until the blowing off the Horn off the Day off Judgment..’’

It is recommended to fast on the first Thursday & between Maghrib & Isha recite 12 Rak’at namaz in six sets of 2 units.

*Ali Maula, Ali Maula*

Man Kunto Maula

shaah-e-mardaaN
sher-e-yazdaaN
quvvat-e-parvardigaar
laa fataa illaa Ali
laa saif illaa zulfiqaar

King of the brave,
lion of God,
[and] strength of God.
There is no one like Ali [and]
there is no sword like Zulfiqaar*.

* Zulfiqaar was the sword of Ali presented to him by Muhammad.

Ali imaam-e-manasto manam Ghulaam-e-Ali
hazaar jaan-e-giraamii fidaa-e-naam-e-Ali

Ali is the master of all, I am the slave of Ali
thousands life are to be sacrificed for Ali.

man kunto maulaa
fa haaza Aliun maulaa

To whom I am the master
Ali is the master.

Note: A famous tradition (hadith) of Prophet Muhammad. Ali was his cousin and son-in-law.

daaraa dil daaraa dil daar-e-daanii
tum tum taa naa naa naanaa, naanaa naanaa re
yaalaalii yaalaalii yaalaa, yaalaa yaalaa

Mystical chants sung by Sufis without any specific meaning.

In some versions, Nusrat has also recited the following stanza:

Ali shaah-e-mardaaN imaamun kabiiraa
ke baadasht nabii shud bashirush naziiraa

Ali is the king of the brave and the great leader
because after the Prophet there is Ali.

Ali imaam-e-manasto manam Ghulaam-e-Ali
hazaar jaan-e-giraamii fidaa-e-naam-e-Ali

Ali is the master of all, I am the slave of Ali
a thousand lives are to be sacrificed for Ali

Note: Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. He is especially revered by the Sufi mystics.

Haidariam qalandaram mastam
bandaa-e-Murtaza Ali hastam
peshvaa-e-tamaam virdaaram
ke sage kuu-e-sher-e-yazdaanam

Haider [Ali] is the generous monk
Ali is the chosen one [by God]
[and] the leader of the people swaying in [God’s] remembrance
I am the dog of the streets of God’s lion.

kabhii diivaar hiltii hai, kabhii dar kaaNp jaataa hai
Ali kaa naam sun kar ab bhii Khaibar kaaNp jaataa hai

Sometimes the wall shakes, sometimes trembles the door
on listening the name of Ali, the fort of Khaibar trembles even now.

Note: During the fight for the Fort of Khaibar, Ali rooted out the heavy door of the fort and used it as his shield.

Shaah-e-mardaaN Ali..
Ali..Ali…Ali…
Ali Maula Ali…

King of the brave
Ali
Ali, [my] master Ali.

patthar pe alam deen ka gaaRaa jisne
lalkaar kar Marhab ko pichaaRaa jisne..

The Mullah & the Paradise

Dr. Muhammad Allama Iqbal ,who was ardent follower of Rumi, perhaps the greatest Sufi poet of all time, openly criticized the self-proclaimed guides of the religion.

However, it is satirical that mullahs of the same breed quote verses of Iqbal to support their pose, yet his poetry is filled with open disapproval of them.

Anyway..
This is  a beautiful translation of Iqbal’s visions about traditional Mullaism..
Our destiny is to promote peace, love and respect in the hearts of everyone regardless of our Mulla’s orthodox visions…
One positive thing about Mullas is that atleast they are keeping our mosques alive 5 times a day…When most of us sleep, Mullas wake up…
I m not taking side with Mullas but infact i am clearing them on a positive note also besides there lot of orthodoxism and stubbornness which should be now ignored by igniting the light of education and awareness in even traditional Mullas…

Here he bashes out at Mullahs in his famous “The Mullah and the Paradise”

When in a vision I saw
A mullah ordered to paradise,
Unable to hold my tongue
I said something in this wise:

‘Pardon me, O Lord
For these bold words of mine,
But he will not be pleased
With houris and the wine

He loves to dispute and fight
And furiously wrangle,
But paradise is no place
For this kind of jangle

His task is to dis-unite
And leave people in the lurch,
But paradise has no temple
No mosque and no church
