We recently encountered an issue regarding the BI Publisher Desktop MS Word Plugin. The issue was “Could not find main class” when previewing a Word Template like below :
You will be able to resolve this issue by doing the steps below.
Click on the BI Publisher Plugin Tab and click on Options :
In the Option Window, select the “Preview” tab and check if the Java Home field is blank. This is most likely the cause of your issue.
Click on Browse and locate the appropriate Java directory from your Machine.
Once you’ve selected the correct directory of your Java version, you may now load XML files and preview the template properly.
Narrated `Ikrima bin Khalid: Ibn `Umar said, I went to Hafsa while water was dribbling from her twined braids. I said, ‘The condition of the people is as you see, and no authority has been given to me.’ Hafsa said, (to me), ‘Go to them, and as they (i.e. the people) are waiting for you, and I am afraid your absence from them will produce division amongst them.’ So Hafsa did not leave Ibn `Umar till we went to them. When the people differed. Muawiya addressed the people saying, ‘If anybody wants to say anything in this matter of the Caliphate, he should show up and not conceal himself, for we are more rightful to be a Caliph than he and his father. On that, Habib bin Masalama said (to Ibn `Umar), Why don’t you reply to him (i.e. Muawiya)? `Abdullah bin `Umar said, I untied my garment that was going round my back and legs while I was sitting and was about to say, ‘He who fought against you and against your father for the sake of Islam, is more rightful to be a Caliph,’ but I was afraid that my statement might produce differences amongst the people and cause bloodshed, and my statement might be interpreted not as I intended. (So I kept quiet) remembering what Allah has prepared in the Gardens of Paradise (for those who are patient and prefer the Hereafter to this worldly life). Habib said, You did what kept you safe and secure (i.e. you were wise in doing so).

مجھ سے ابراہیم بن موسیٰ نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم کو ہشام نے خبر دی ‘ انہیں معمر بن راشد نے ‘ انہیں زہری نے ‘ انہیں سالم بن عبداللہ نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا اور معمر بن راشد نے بیان کیا کہ مجھے عبداللہ بن طاؤس نے خبر دی ‘ ان سے عکرمہ بن خالد نے اور ان سے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ میں حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے یہاں گیا تو ان کے سر کے بالوں سے پانی کے قطرات ٹپک رہے تھے۔ میں نے ان سے کہا کہ تم دیکھتی ہو لوگوں نے کیا کیا اور مجھے تو کچھ بھی حکومت نہیں ملی۔ حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا کہ مسلمانوں کے مجمع میں جاؤ ‘ لوگ تمہارا انتظار کر رہے ہیں۔ کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ تمہارا موقع پر نہ پہنچنا مزید پھوٹ کا سبب بن جائے۔ آخر حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے اصرار پر عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ گئے۔ پھر جب لوگ وہاں سے چلے گئے تو معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے خطبہ دیا اور کہا کہ خلافت کے مسئلہ پر جسے گفتگو کرنی ہو وہ ذرا اپنا سر تو اٹھائے۔ یقیناً ہم اس سے زیادہ خلافت کے حقدار ہیں اور اس کے باپ سے بھی زیادہ۔ حبیب بن مسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے اس پر کہا کہ آپ نے وہیں اس کا جواب کیوں نہیں دیا؟ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ میں نے اسی وقت اپنے لنگی کھولی ( جواب دینے کو تیار ہوا ) اور ارادہ کر چکا تھا کہ ان سے کہوں کہ تم سے زیادہ خلافت کا حقدار وہ ہے جس نے تم سے اور تمہارے باپ سے اسلام کے لیے جنگ کی تھی۔ لیکن پھر میں ڈرا کہ کہیں میری اس بات سے مسلمانوں میں اختلاف بڑھ نہ جائے اور خونریزی نہ ہو جائے اور میری بات کا مطلب میری منشا کے خلاف نہ لیا جانے لگے۔ اس کے بجائے مجھے جنت کی وہ نعمتیں یاد آ گئیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے ( صبر کرنے والوں کے لیے ) جنت میں تیار کر رکھی ہیں۔ حبیب ابن ابی مسلم نے کہا کہ اچھا ہوا آپ محفوظ رہے اور بچا لیے گئے ‘ آفت میں نہیں پڑے۔ محمود نے عبدالرزاق سے ( «نسواتها.» کے بجائے لفظ ) «ونوساتها.» بیان کیا ( جس کے معنی چوٹی کے ہیں جو عورتیں سر پر بال گوندھتے وقت نکالتی ہیں ) ۔
One filled with all the material possessions you could dream of :
* A mansion * A sleek car * Designer clothes
And another stripped of all these things, focused instead on spiritual growth. Which one would bring more joy and fulfilment ??
Many assume the answer is obvious: of course material wealth equals happiness.
But here’s the paradoxical truth: embracing spirituality, while it requires loosening our grip on material things, actually leads to a far richer, more joyful existence than the pursuit of possessions ever could.

This captures the heart of what I’ve learned: spirituality is not about deprivation, but about accessing a source of joy that is infinite and unshakable.
Why is this ??
As humans, we all have core needs—to feel loved, valued, and safe. We chase after material things, relationships, and achievements, believing they’ll fulfill these needs. But they’re all temporary solutions, providing a fleeting sense of satisfaction that quickly fades, leaving us wanting more.
That’s because our true needs are infinite in nature. Only something infinite and eternal can truly fulfill them. This is what the spiritual path offers—a connection to the infinite source of love, value, and security that resides with the Divine. It’s a wellspring of joy that never runs dry. As we grow spiritually, our perspective on material things naturally shifts.
We begin to see possessions not as ends in themselves, but as means to an end.
* A car becomes a tool for mobility and service, not a status symbol. * A house transforms from a showcase of wealth to a sacred space for personal growth and connection. * Our relationships shift from being about what we can get to what we can give.
In this way, spirituality doesn’t deprive us of material things, but rather infuses them with deeper meaning and purpose. It invites us to reexamine our relationship with material things, recognizing that true fulfilment comes from our connection with the Divine. This shift looks different for everyone. Some may feel called to radical simplicity, while others find a sense of balance, enjoying material comforts without being controlled by them.
“This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the ˹eternal˺ Home of the Hereafter for those who are God-conscious. Will you not then understand?” Quran (6:32)
The key is that spirituality frees us from the endless cycle of desire and dissatisfaction that comes with seeking happiness in external things. We’re no longer slaves to our possessions, but instead connected to the true source of joy.
So if you’re feeling called to explore spirituality, know that you’re not turning away from wealth, but discovering its deepest, most lasting form.
You’re embarking on a journey to uncover the greatest treasure of all—the meaning, purpose, and unshakable peace that comes with connecting to the Sacred.
In the end, this is the most valuable wealth we can ever hope to attain. What are some advice you have for someone beginning to deepen their spiritual connection ??
Maulana Hasrat Mohani who spoke eloquently on the necessity of ‘Total Independence’ opposing the ‘Self Rule’ concept of Gandhiji and impressed the audience while causing discomfiture to Gandhiji, was born in 1878 in the small town of Mohan in Uttar Pradesh. His actual Name was Syed Fazl-ul-Hasan. He was recognized as a talented poet. He started writing ghazals when he was only 17 years of age under pen name ‘Hasrat’. So he became popular as Maulana Hasrat Mohani. He also worked as the Editor of the ‘Urdu-e-Muallah’ magazine. He was attracted to the revolutionary ideas of Aurobindo Ghosh and Bala Gangadhar Tilak.
After completing his education, he did not want to serve in a job and therefore preferred to become a journalist. He opposed slavery in all forms and fought against the British. Hasrat Mohani joined the Indian National Congress in 1903. He wrote several articles criticizing the British rulers; as a result, he was accused of treason and was sent to jail by the British government in 1909.
Hasrat Mohani was unable to pay the fine imposed on him and consequently, the police seized the rare books collected by him. He spent most of his time in different jails during the National Movement. He started the first ‘Swadeshi Stores’ along with his wife Nishatunnisa Begum to support the cause of the National Movement. Hasrat Mohani played a vital role in the Khilafat Movement, during which he visited Hyderabad several times to propagate Khilafat and Non-Cooperation Movements.
Hasrat Mohani and Total Independence
Maulana Hasrat Mohani moved the resolution for ‘Total Independence’ at the Congress Session held in 1921 in Ahmadabad. He criticized the absolute application of Non-Violence saying that it was not suitable for all situations, for which he even received praise from Mahatma Gandhi.
Later on, Maulana Hasrat Mohani was attracted towards socialist ideology. In the year 1928, he quit the Indian National Congress, because he differed from certain policies adopted by Mahatma Gandhi. Though he was supporting the Muslim League, he opposed the idea of the Muslim League for the division of the Nation. Maulana Hasrat Mohani was elected in the Assembly elections held in 1946 as a candidate of the Muslim League. But he opposed the division of India at every stage.
Even after Independence, his commitment to his Socialist and Secular ideology continued unabated. At last, on 13 May 1951. Maulana Hasrat Mohani breathed his last in Lucknow.
