“Kya tamasha hua Islam ki taqdeer ke sath,
Qatal-e Shabeer(A.S) hua Nara-e Takbeer ke sath!”
-Allama Iqbal (R.A)
“What drama(tic disasters) occurred in the fate of Islam,
Shabeer(Hoseyn A.S.) was killed (by those) hailing for the Greatness (of God).”
-Allama Iqbal (R.A)
Does the new year brings “happy” sentiments by any chance?
Why since only a couple of years celebrating the new Islamic year started all of a sudden and out of nowhere?
Did this all happened just by a series of small coincidences throughout the world at the same time, making it all to become a miraculous grand coincidence. OR is it just another Nasibi’s latest propaganda with a Modern-Thought Celebration cover-up?!!!
To know, you need to do personal research & think unbiasedly and I assure you’ll then see how deep is the rabbit hole!
Celebrating new year is itself a western following and is more of a materialistic approach to it. Furthermore rather than happiness every new islamic year only reminds of the Great Sacrifice of Prophet’s(S) Grandson in the tragic incident of Karbala and its hideous aftermath. It calls us to help the oppressed and strive hard against all atrocities to maintain Allah’s Justice, Charity & Prudence among His creation. This is the ideology of Imam Hoseyn ibn Ali(Alayhis Salaam) and is the road to Divine “Happiness” in the
Hereafter.
“Ronay wala hoon Shaheed-e-Karbala kay gham may mayn,
Kya durrey maqsood na daingay Sāqi-e-Kauthar* mujhey.”
-Allama Iqbal (R.A)
“I’m going to shed tears upon the sufferings of Karbala’s Mayrtr(Maula Hoseyn A.S.),
Will not then the Lord of Kauthar(Maula Ali A.S.) reward me with Jewel of Salvation.”
-Allama Iqbal (R.A)
*Saqi-e-Kauthar (Lord of Kauthar; literally) is a Laqab (لقب‎) of Maula Ali ibn Abi Talib(A.S.) given by Prophet Muhammad(S). Kauthar is a Cistern in Paradise through which only the successful ones, i.e. the people of Paradise, will drink.
“The comforts and luxuries of the world and its sweet life, make the hereafter bitter and bearing the bitter tastes of the world makes the everlasting life sweet.”-The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (S) , Biharul Anwar, vol. 1

The Glow Of The Light Of Daybreak

The glow of the light of daybreak…something
Is in your emerald vault…
the goblet of the blood of twilight…
Is your blood-measuring bowl….
Mile on mile…torrent on torrent come dancing…
And gliding to the shore of your sea…
With all the abstention and aspiration of the moon…
The cap falls off the head of the moon…
When the moon raises its face…
To gaze upon your height….
Every morn the nightingales lament..
Like the heart-forlorn…
Ones to the melodies of those…
Attaining your verdant meadow…
The spirits seek vision…
The hearts all seek the Beloved…
You in whose broad orchard four streams are let flow…
one stream pure water…another honey..
the third fresh milk…the fourth your ruby wine…
You never give me a chance…
You are giving wine upon wine…
Where is the head…
That I may describe…
The drinking-cup of your wine?
Yet who am I?
Heaven itself in the round of this heavy bumper…
Finds not a moment’s peace from your love…
And the craving for you…
Moon of silver girdle…
You have experience of love…
Heaven….loverhood is apparent in your features.
When love is yoked to the heart…
It wearies of the heart’s chatter…
Heart…be silent…
How long this striving and inquiring of yours?
The heart said,
“I am His reed pipe…I wail as the breath inn me….”
I said,
“Be lamenting now…the slave of whose passion is the soul…”
We have opened your door…
Do not desert your companions…
In thankfulness for an all-embracing love..
Which has seized you from head to toe….
